NOTE The original 1- wire starter has no solenoid. This one you purchased is the high torque gear reduction type, and they only come with the solenoid attached. All that is required to make these work is to bridge the existing original external solenoid in the engine bay. and use the ignition feed that goes to the old external solenoid and use/ extend that wire to the gear reduction solenoid ignition connection.
